Situated right next to Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park, Highland Resort Hotel & Spa boasts Mount Fuji views, large hot spring baths and spa facilities. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The room beautifully merged 'Japandi' aesthetics, a blend of Japanese and Western styles. This is, by far, my favorite hotel in Japan. Although the staff didn't speak English, their efforts to assist were commendable and appreciated. The hospitality was warm and welcoming. The Onsen attached to the hotel is the best I experienced during my entire trip in Japan. The view of Mt. Fuji on my last day from the window was unforgettable. I will definitely return

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Good service and staff are very kind.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Everything is crazily awesome!! We booked a higher-floor lake-view room. It's on 6 floors. The room is really big since it's not my first time staying at this kind of traditional Japanese onsen Ryokan. 1. The check-in male staff is really professional and his English is one of the best during my stay in Japan. 2. The lady who was responsible for our room Yuki, was really helpful and completed every her mission perfectly from welcome tea to set up and serving our whole traditional Japanese dinner. 3. The rooftop is the best reason to stay here. You can see the whole of Fuji Mountain here. The day we checked in was clear but with some cloud on the tip of the mt. But on the day we checked out was really clear. 4. The shared onsen on the fourth floor is also awesome. There are all kinds of onsen and saunas. Even better with an outdoor one! I didn't go in the daytime but if you stay here please try it. 5. The shuttle bus is really helpful since most of our trains are after 3 pm. You can also use it when you checkout first, leave your bags here explore around and come back to take the shuttle bus back to the train station.

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... Nice hotel facing Lake Kawaguchiko, the onsen was great! Breakfast was okay. Room is super spacious, fully equipped with open air hot bath. Staffs were all super nice and helpful, even helped us to book the highway bus.

Located right in front of Lake Kawaguchi in the Mount Fuji area, Fuji Lake Hotel offers spacious accommodations with mountain or lake views. I really enjoyed my time at Fuji Lake Hotel. The location is awesome—right by Lake Kawaguchi, and if you’re lucky with the weather, you get a perfect view of Mt. Fuji. The room was clean, comfy, and bigger than I expected. It had a nice mix of traditional and modern, which made it feel cozy without being outdated. The onsen was one of my favorite parts, especially the outdoor bath with the lake view. Super relaxing. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They gave good tips about the area and made everything easy. Breakfast was solid too, with plenty of Japanese and Western options. Overall, it’s a really chill and comfortable place to stay. I’d definitely come back.
