Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. I did not have breakfast but everything else was perfect. Location is great compared to the price. Staffs are warm and helpful.

Location: Very close to the city center, compared with the few 5-star hotels in the same region which are more difficult to get to. Easy taxi ride from Kawaguchiko train station; hotel provides a free pickup upon arrival. Without luggage, one can easily bike between the hotel and the train station. Within walking distance (just walk over the Kawaguchiko Bridge) to Ubuyagasaki Shrine which is a top venue to watch the Fuji Mountain during sunrise. Room: Comfortable and luxurious; newly remodeled with modern facilities yet preserves the traditional Japanese onsen styles. Particularly impressed by the bathroom, indoor bath, and the private outdoor hot tub! Privacy: This onsen pays great attention to offering privacy to guests. Not only did the rooms feel this way, check-in and checkout as well as the breakfast experience were all private. Breakfast: More than amazing!!!
