Matatagpuan ang Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring sa Matsumoto, 6 minutong lakad mula sa Matsumoto Station at 3.9 km mula sa The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum. In walking distance to train station. An amazing breakfast with lots of choices. Free Ramen in the evenings! Onsen was fabulous.

Located in the Happo one area. Transfer service was heavenly! Staff was super nice and the onsen was perfect after a day out!

Its cozy and warm inside. The owner is very very kind and lovely. I reserved 2 nights first and end up staying 4. There’s so much to do around if you like walking and nature. Specially a quite and genuine experience in an onsen town. Catch the first bus to monkey station and then walk back home (50 min down hill). It’s very pretty. Also exploring the nearby mountain and little temple (10 min walk from the house). They give you free pass to the Yudanaka onsen at the yudanaka station, very good. And there’s plenty of good onsens around. For example de 湯田中温泉大浴場 吉の湯 onsen is good 700 yen and tattoo friendly. (7 min walk) Food in the hostel is very good as well. My go-to was chicken curry and the “hot bowl”. Everything is very clean, bathroom is huge. (Men’s side) free tea all day, and FREE laundry!! Hospitality 10/10. Very recommended stay, I didn’t wanted to leave….

Beautiful property that is close to Happo One and Happo Bus Station to go to other mountain resorts. It was very clean and spacious with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the included daily breakfast and onsite Onsen. I communicated with staff at the front desk and on Whats App, and all my questions were answered promptly.

We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The location was beautiful, the onsen was perfect, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the hostess, Maki, was so nice and welcoming. Maki taught us, two non-Japanese, the proper way to enjoy a ryokan stay, enabling us get the full traditional Japanese experience. If you are able to book a stay at this ryokan then consider yourself lucky, it is truly wonderful.

Open from August 2018, featuring Mount Asama views and a single-star Michelin restaurant, Le Grand Karuizawa Hotel and Resort is located in Karuizawa. A very grand, beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect. Natural hot spring in a wonderful mountain location. The breakfast buffet was very delicious. The restaurant's French dinner is excellent.
