We were welcomed by Elizabeth who was incredibly kind and helpful, the inn itself was beautiful and our room was cozy and very comfortable. But our favorite thing were the several baths we could use, so relaxing! Nikko can be very busy with tourists but that completely made up for it:))

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. Exquisite in eve sense. But not too much at the same time. Impeccable, kind team.

Words can hardly capture how special this place is. Surrounded by exquisite nature, beautifully curated furniture and ceramics, a sophisticated art library, and gardens designed by renowned artist Kishio Suga, it was a memorable experience. The onsens were perfect for the relaxation you need after spending some days in a busy city like Tokyo. A special thanks to Koki, who kindly showed us around Suga's museum and shared insights about the special project that is Itamuro. We're already looking forward to returning soon!

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. Amazing history and authentic experience.

About a 20-minute walk from the Nikko shrines, Annex Turtle Hotori-An is situated next to the Daiya river and green forests. It features hot spring baths with river views. Clean, very well located next to the main attractions of the town. Also the onsen was essentially private and you can use it only for 30 mins since other guests will use it too.

Wa no oto 和の音交流館 鬼怒川宿 se găsește în Nikko, la 21 km de Gara Tobu Nikko, și are WiFi gratuit și parcare privată gratuită. Close proximity to kinugawa onsen station (<5 min walk), Lawson directly across from hotel, and close to points of interest. Genuinely lovely and helpful staff who can speak English. Easy check in. Spacious rooms for affordable price. And the onsen was clean, large, and had all the amenities you could need. Had it all to myself both times at 9pm, and 7am.
