Exceptionally well equipped and comfortable accommodation close to a very quiet and calm beach. Kangaroos at your doorstep everyday. Almost everything you could need was provided including beach equipment, cooking basics (salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, coffee etc), wifi/internet, TV with in built chromecast, expresso machine (with beans!) and more!

The house is spacious, exceptionally clean and extremely well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could need, which was all good quality. We enjoyed the kids puzzles and board games too. Beds very comfy

It was a bigger place than we had expected with extra amenities. It was very clean and furniture was comfortable. The owner was very communicative and friendly. They had even labelled the light switches and had provided board games ready to go!

Leasha is very friendly and flexible The house is very well located in the town and the Sealink shuttle can drop you in Baudin Beach if need be I walked until Brown Beach, it was nice and easy with a beautifully rewarding beach view in the end! I would definitely book here if I were coming back to KI!

American River is a bit out of the way, and KI Lodge is almost as far as you can go before the road ends! We had a superior King Bayview room, which had a nice balcony, 2 decent beds and was tastefully decorated. Its features include tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, an iron and ironing board, and a room safe. And thank you to the hotel for the “welcome gift” of a bottle of wine and cookies; very thoughtful! There is an a la carte restaurant and a bar, which served food. We chose the latter and were quite happy with the selection of meals available. It has a marked walk in their rear grounds, which we did, and were lucky to see glossy black Cockatoos in the wild. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, it's only 40 mins to the ferry, so very convenient.

The decor in the Anchorage was quirky and colourful. The property was well equipped and in a good location. I would definitely stay there again as I thought it was reasonably priced and value for money. Kangaroo Island is always a magnificent place to visit.
