Further to my previous review, it's always a great privilege to stay at the Commercial, while Donna and the team are ever the most amenable and 'accommodating' of hosts etc.

Camperdown Cascade Motel offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. It offers a spacious garden area with covered BBQ facilities.

Even though it's on sin road, the rooms are back off the road, so much quieter than another motel on the same street we've also stayed at. Truck stop next door is convenient and playground close by.

Camperdown has a lot of history, an information centre, a tall clock tower, volcanoes, lakes and scenic lookouts. The motel has all the basic amenities and was comfortable.

Breathtaking 180 degree views of plunging valleys. Enjoying the views from the balcony, sipping a cup of tea or glass of wine. Our host baking us a magnificent loaf of bread. Fresh eggs in the fridge. The peace and quiet. The games room. This is a quiet, country cottage where you feel comfortably at home (not a sterile, beige and white showplace where you're scared you might leave a scuff-mark!)

Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, clean large bathroom and shower, plenty of room for bags and moving around. Plenty of milk for tea and coffee, mini soaps were not oversized and the towels were soft.

The location was perfect for me , the off street car park was great , free fast wi fi is much appreciated , the staff were more than helpful and very friendly . The pub is close to a supermarket and a bakery wich is always a plus .
