Super host Irene was without doubt the most helpful person on my whole trip. Not only for arranging game drives and river cruises, but also for anything else you might need. Can't say enough good things about her willingness to provide assistance whenever needed. The cottages themselves are quite nice and good quality for the price, and the location is quiet due to its distance from the main roads. Wouldn't change a thing about the stay.

Excellent location, well positioned in a quiet area and within easy walking access to the main centre. Efficient and friendly staff, especially the hostess, who helped me so much and went above and beyond to make my stay there extremely smooth. She helped me organize so many things and was truly a blessing. I appreciated being able to leave my Hire vehicle parked securely there whilst I went for a short trip to Zimbabwe. Also assisted me to organize the shuttle transport to and from Zimbabwe as well - really extremely helpful. Clean and spacious room, and an excellent breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

POVI was like being at a family member’s house. You are in a real local neighborhood and Connie is a great hostess. My room was clean and tidied up daily. There was a refrigerator, air conditioning and mosquito net over the bed. Breakfast was served on time daily and I opted for lighter fare (coffee, juice, cereal and fruit). Additional items are available. The location is close to Chobe National Park and the tiny “village” area. I found it refreshing to relax at POVI after days of activities. Connie offered dinners prepared by her chef but I made my own arrangements. I had a car and that makes things easier but small Honda taxis are plentiful in the neighborhood and cheap. Connie is a great resource but modest. I accidentally found out that she has made history and is a pioneer featured in a long New York Times article. She was part of the first team of all-female guides in Botswana. All in all, if you want an authentic local experience and can forego luxury for a short time, POVI is easy on the pocketbook and good for the spirit. It is secure too.

Location along the river is great and the rooms very well appointed and roomy. Outstanding breakfast buffet, and staff very helpful in arranging take-away breakfasts and lunches formal day excursions. Buffet dinners at Sududu Grill were good, but not outstanding. Did the Job for us. Location is on the plateau from Kasane very close to the main avenue. Richard organized the tours for us, Vic fall and Chobe river cruise. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend if you intend to move around during your stay. There is a secure car park to leave your car if away for the day.

Good hotel located on the outskirts of Kasane. Private gated parking spots available. Lovely patio with grill. The rooms are large and have a private balcony. Fridge available in the room and also in the shared kitchen downstairs. Excellent breakfast.

We were four people, and expected from the reviews that the unit might feel a bit cramped and sleeping on the couch would not be the most comfortable. With these expectaions, we were very happy with what we got. The patio easily works as an additional room, so we never felt the lack of space. Apart from the very hard pillows, we also did not find the sleeper-couch that uncomfortable. We liked the central, yet very quiet location, the safe parking spaces provided, and the small pool. For four people the price was very fair.

Great hostel with amazing staff. Staff is very helpful with any question that you may have. Tours are organised from the hostel for a decent price. The pool and the backyard are super chill to meet new people. Ac and wifi were working fine. Car parking space available. The restaurant for guests is open too.

Fabulous two-bedroom apartment. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Well-equipped for self-catering. Secure parking right outside. Reasonably priced laundry service and good breakfast provided. We were very impressed with this lodge and would look to visit again in future.
