We requested a quiet room, with shower, and this is what we got in a room was at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly, we had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was good value. Yes, the hotel is old fashioned, however, it is what you see and is perfectly functional. Plenty of free parking.

It’s location is good - across the road from the rail “shuttle bus” and easy access for the main highway. They have plenty of free parking behind hotel. They don’t do breakfast, but the on-site independent restaurant does, but not until 8.30. The food there was basic, but It was OK for one night. The bar is a standard locals place - plenty of lagers, but only one craft beer sadly.
