We were looking for a place to spend Christmas with our two dogs. Michelhause, a renovated old house dating back to 1686, met all our expectations. The house has been expertly restored, with attention paid not only to the quality of the materials used but also to the installed appliances, including a Sonos sound system throughout the house, a Siemens refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The Giltstein oven in the kitchen was our favorite and made our Christmas Eve unforgettable. We will definitely return to this house in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with everything. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We especially appreciated the new bathroom, which was modern and very nice. The whole place felt fresh and well cared for. The location in Ernen was beautiful and peaceful, and the skiing gondolas were only a couple of minutes away by car or bus, which was very convenient. Perfect for a relaxing few days, and we would happily stay here again.

Location, host, parking space and facilities

The complimentary breakfast is outstanding! The hotel makes their own jams and their own herbal teas. They use local and organic bread…delicious! The staff is friendly and very attentive. I would definitely recommend it! Great experience of swiss hospitality.

Extremely clean, excellent price value. Good location if you have a car a go around for ski-touring.

The peace. This place is idyllic. The location in the pastoral hamlet of Mühlebach just across the suspension bridge was a delight. The hosts were tremendously welcoming and the room was cozy after long days of hiking the Aletsch Arena. The shower had dependable hot water and pressure. There is an excellent farm-to-table restaurant (ErnenGarten) that is just a 1 mile walk away.

Staff were friendly when they were there (which was only at breakfast time). The balcony was ok, we had a nice view. Breakfast was ok. Beds were clean. There was a good Italian Restaurant across the street at another hotel.

Loved everything about the place. Staff, room etc

Beautiful scenery, great service, very flexible and understanding of personal circumstances. We were taken care of very well, with late check-out, discounted rates provided.

Modern and comfortable. Very clean and good location. Close to the train and cable car station for viewing of the glacier.
