The staff/ hosts is amazingly friendly and hard working - I felt like they are doing their best to the stay smooth and memorable . I liked the food ( I had lunch and dinner in the hotel ) incl local specialities, the SPA is cozy with Saunas , swimming pool and a small garden. - good to relax after a long day

The hotel has a great ambiance, owing to its historic character and respectful renovation and upkeep. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide array of locally produced foods. We will definitely be back!

We were thoroughly impressed with this small, quaint hotel! It exceeded our expectations, and we are hotel snobs. Parking was readily available and free; our large van fit well. The hotel was cute and attractive inside and out. It was clean, comfortable, unique, and the staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Had we gotten there early enough, we would have tried dinner there, as well. We arrived later than anticipated due to being delayed on a mountain pass by a hail storm. I feel certain it would have been lovely if breakfast was any indication. When I called to let them know of my late arrival, I spoke to several different staff as they we had a bit of trouble communicating. They were all so friendly in what could have been a frustrating situation! I finally got across that I was running late, and they assured me that was no problem. A very nice lady was still there to check us in when we arrived. Our rooms were nicely furnished and decorated. I loved the large windows that opened for the night. The next door church with bells that rang throughout the night might be an annoyance to some, but we loved hearing them. They WERE loud with the windows open, but still - we love hearing clock bells! Some of us enjoyed walking around Santa Maria the next day while part of our group hiked a long trail. I really think this was my favorite area of Switzerland, and I would have loved to have had more time here. But, we had to move along to Italy...!

Beautifully renovated apartment in a typical Graubünden house. The whole valley is easy to reach by public transport and the apartment is only a couple of minutes away from the bus stop. Easy to reach by car too. The apartment is fully equipped. The decoration is very nice. There is a local shop just 2min away which very practical.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely, family-run hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, super friendly, and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with all the standard amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was excellent! They have a great selection, offering both full-course menus and a la carte options. Highly recommend staying and dining here if you're in the area!

Very nice hotel with wonderful art everywhere. The stars on the ceiling are my favorite - only seen this once before! Beautiful area.
