As for Hemberg, it's as if it was plucked from the pages of a storybook, with its majestic hills and tranquil atmosphere. Really nice people. Amazing mountain view from the room's window (family suite). Had a lovely evening walk in the area. Food is delicious - everything fresh and tasty. Very good beer and their cheese soup is to die for! Breakfast was plentiful - we had more than normal portions because of how good everything was! I slept really well - it was very quiet in the room and pitch dark. Comfy beds. Would come back!

The place is lovely -200 hundred years old house, nicely decorated, very spacious and clean. we parked in front of it. Our host was a lovely stand woman. There is a bakery nearby. Saint Gallen and Appenzell are very close, which make the location very convenient if you are on a roar trip as we were.
