Super friendly and serviceminded host, employees and host family. Beautiful traditional guesthouse in a quiet street inside the walls of the old city. The breakfast was very nice, the backyard was very well decorated and calming. Our taxi driver from the train station called the guesthouse, so the owner came and picked up the luggage into the ancient city. Highly recommended . Thank you. PS: I forgot to deliver one key, I will send it to you.

Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing location, right in the center of ancient town of Pingyao but still very quiet. The room is very beautiful, clean and there is all you need for a comfortable stay. Ji is amazing. I highly recommend a short or longer stay at the Ji Family Courtyard Inn.

This hotel is inside the ancient city, it is convenient to explore the city. Fast check in and out Pleasant staff Hotel is not crowded. I only saw one guest throughout my one day stay The next day, I got up early and I was able to walk the entire city (no crowds) I felt very safe The hotel does not have a restaurant, however one is not needed; there are numerous restaurants in the city. I ordered from Meituan. Breakfast the next day was simple but more than enough for me: toast, jelly, fried egg and bacon. There are also numerous options for breakfast in the city. I enjoyed my stay very much, will definitely stay again. Tours that you can take: Wang’s Courtyard is 30 minutes by car and Zhangby’s Fortress is about 30 minutes from Wang’s Courtyard. Traveling tips: To get to Pingyao by train: Beijing to Pingyao: only a few times per day (This is the best option if you are coming from Beijing) Otherwise: Beijing to Pingyao or Shanghai to Pingyao Air China Taiyuan to Pingyao: Rake the fast train that is ~ 30-40 minutes. Business class is 56 rmb Coming back to Beijing (If you miss direct train to Beijing) -Pingyao rail station to Taiyuan South. ( Do not get off on Taiyuan station, you must to go Taiyuan South) I got off the wrong station and had to take a taxi to Taiyuan South which is about 15 minutes with light traffic Taiyuan South to Beijing: 3 hours by fast train. I hope my reviews help you explore the city better

Very charming room and courtyard right on the main road by the South Gate. The location cannot be beaten. The family room (2 double beds) is charming and the courtyard is a typical traditional court with the red lanterns. Staff was extremely friendly, they explained everything and let us keep the room until 3pm at no extra charge.
