The owner Yuelu is amazing so helpful in all that is needed for traveling in the park ! She also help when you are stuck as no one speak English in the park Her home stay is so close to the park that you can just walk to the entrance. The room is great she make that it will be heated before arrival and the breakfast is great!

This place offered so much more than we expected! Leaving in a glass house in the middle of the forest was a truly unique experience! Xiaomei is an amazing host, so nice and helpful! And the breakfast was incredible! Couldn't be happier with our choice.

From start to finish we felt very taken care of and looked after by their staff member, Tiffany. She helped us sort taxis to and from the property, helped us book tickets to all of the local attractions and mapped out routes for each day. We are vegetarian, and she was very accommodating in helping us get meals at their restaurant, which were all delicious. The location is great. They offer a shuttle cart ride to the west gate entrance. Views were beautiful and we went in the off-season and there were almost no people.

The staff are amazing, especially Lucas from the management of the hotel. We have stayed 3 days in this hotel, and Lucas had made itinerary for us during our stay to explore all point of interest in Zhangjiajie. He knows exactly how to avoid long queue so we really can optimize the time that we had. For the first time visitor to Zhangjiajie and want to get maximum of your time, enjoy as much as possible, I really recommend to stay at this hotel and let Lucas create itinerary during your stay here.

The location to visit the park is amazing. 3 minutes walk to the west entrance of the park, perfect for visit the avatar mountains. Carol, the owner, is just amazing. She helps you with everything she can since tickets, transportation, everything. And she speaks perfect english! Her mom and dad cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, really good food! We felt super welcome, safe and comfy. Beautiful people! Thank you carol! Hope to see you again some day.

Had a lovely stay at Avatar Peaks Resort! Winnie at the reception was absolutely amazing and spoke very good English. She helped organize everything during my stay, and I can’t thank her enough. She recommended a route for visiting the National Forest with clear directions and was quick to answer any questions I had. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the resort was very close—just a golf cart ride away from the entrance to the West Gate (Yangjiajie Ticket Station).

The staff is helpful, giving advice on visits and offer you a free ride to the entrance of the park. The rooms are spacious with beautiful mountain view. The bedding is very comfortable. Good breakfast and very good restaurant for dinner. You feel like this place belong to you only.

It’s located just inside the west gate of the park, which means that in addition to it being very beautiful and convenient, it also allows those who stay to travel through the park in a direction opposite most other park visitors, slashing wait times for attractions. At the end of a long day in Tianmanshan or ZJJ, it was great to come back to a pool and a delicious home cooked meal. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The Yang Family are wonderful! I was very well looked after in every aspect of my stay. Mr Yang’s dinners were delicious and straight from the family garden, the beds were super comfortable and the rooms were modern and beautifully presented.
