There is a very good balcony for birding and even a lobby copy of Birds of Minca. Julius Caesar knows the birds and is a good spotter. We IDed 20 birds there in a couple days. (And saw but not well enough to ID a few more). And he brought us coffee at dawn on the balcony! It is a quiet location but close enough to walk into town. Very near Pozo Azul. Definitely recommend strongly.

This is a great hotel. Very nice rooms with balconies and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its not breakfast here but easy to get breakfast at the place right next door if you dont want to go down to central Minca. I would love to stay here again!

The hostel/hotel is just wonderful. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. You will feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place. Even if it is uphill and you have to take a motor taxi in the evening, the view and the place itself is totally worth it. I stayed in the dorm, both are very comfortable and big enough. Will definitely come back!

This was our favourite stay in Colombia. A beautiful setting, clean and comfortable accommodation, good breakfast and a great pizzeria next door, owned by the same family… just perfect. We stayed in the larger ‘tent’ and it was great to have the extra space for bags etc, but both options looked lovely. The owner was very helpful in arranging us mototaxis into the centre of Minca, but we also walked on other occasions and it wasn’t too far - 30 minutes. We loved going to the cascada escondida nearby, and even the river which was even closer on the same route was great for a quick dip!

Everything was just amazing!! We were traveling Colombia for 1 month and mundo nuevo was the highlight of our vacation. Pictures can not show you how magic this place is!! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the rooms are super comfy! For my this was the most beautiful place i've ever been to!!
