Amazing property. Markus has built an awesome place to visit and enjoy just outside of Quepos. Our house, the San Antonio 2 bedroom, was a little rustic but very comfy. Nice beds, nice shower, plenty of room. However the room isn't the point of this property - it's the land. The private jungle and trails are just as nice as the national parks, but much less crowded. We saw an incredible number of frogs, including poison dart frogs, Toucans, birds, huge spiders, and even a Neotropical river Otter - which Markus hadn't even seen before! The trails are quite well maintained and well marked. The river and trees are amazing as well. The pool is also spectacular - our kids loved it. The Cabana next to the pool was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast as well. They even provide some food such as bananas and mangos grown right on the farm! Markus clearly loves the land and the property, and has put a ton of effort into creating a beautiful place to visit - he was also a great host. Happily answering our many questions and providing information about the different species of animals around. A really, really unique gem that my whole family enjoyed. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel.

The host and his 90 year old mother are very friendly. Everything is clean, and the host is so kind to provide anything we need like plates and hair dryer. The host will also clean the room if you stay for more than 1 day. The place is quite safe as the host will lock up the gate at night. The room looks better than the picture

Jorge was extremely helpful and kind. The place is awesome, further away from the town and very peaceful and quiet. We stayed in the rooms as we felt there would have been little privacy in the wooden cabanas. The room was perfect, full of light, nice shower, very clean. The shared facilities such as the open kitchen are very well kept and clean. We really liked the atmosphere. Overall, a perfect stay. Thank you!

I loved our stay at Tico Tico Villas. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right at a bus stop which was great was us as we didn’t travel by car. Every day you can see monkeys running around the hotel, iguanas climbing the trees or toucans flying around. The pool is also a great advantage to have!

In this place you’ll feel at home right away. Well, a more exotic home, that is. Everybody has a personal concierge that is ready to help at anytime (we had Alex, he was great). The pools are genuis and the view from there is perfect. You can see some iguanas or monkeys right as you are taking a dip and sipping on a margarita. Last but not least, visiting the Macaw reserve on the proptety it’s a must. To be honest, I found the hike and the reserve itself more authentic, not to mention more private, than famous Manuel Antonio National Park. The sunsets from the viewpoint are unique. All in all, an amazing experience and hope to come back soon.
