The owner was very friendly. We needed to use a translator app because each of us only spoke “un poco” of each other’s native language but we worked through it. The cute cabins are very close to Tenorio Park and to restaurants. We loved the cows in the field nearby.

The cabin was perfect and in beautiful gardens, so many hummingbirds! The photos do not do it justice! Delicious breakfast. Iliana was very helpful. She walked us down to the river, pointing out the resident Sloth. She even got into the river to show us how deep it was before our children got in. A stunning location for a cooling swim.

We absolutely loved staying here! The family is wonderful. They were always ready to help and answer any questions. The night tour on the property was fun, the breakfast was delicious and it was overall very relaxing. This was the first property we stayed at on our Costa Rica trip, and we were so grateful that it was. Everything was perfect. Rooms were tidy and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and hosts polite and helpful. We stayed in a room with two double beds and a small bed. All beds were very comfortable. I slept in the little one on the picture, very cozy!

Fantastic hosts! This is a wonderful family who have opened their home to travellers in a very small community outside Rio Celeste. They are incredibly welcoming and have a fantastic clean home with a kitchen and great breakfast.
