My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights as we discovered the delicious German wines in this region. Ebi was a wonderful host and made our stay even more memorable. He is engaging and very attentive. We would definitely recommend his spacious lower level to any couple and their dog. It has everything you need and offers an excellent starting point for exploring the area’s beautiful landscape. Several trails though the vineyards with only footsteps away. We also enjoyed the family-run Italian/German restaurant down the street. Thanks Ebi for making our trip so smooth! We hope to see you again.

At arrival, the lady was waiting to give us the keys, she quickly showed us the appartment and thats was it. The appartment was really good. Big, modern and nice and clean. We will definetly come back. When we are going back to the are to meet our friends!

Old house with modern twist This place totally exceeded our expectations. I was looking for a house in the area within maximum 20 min of driving from my brother’s town. My only request was a nice and comfortable place with a good internet connection that can fit 5 people for 10 days. Ferienhaus Waldorf was a pretty new listing on Booking without any reviews. I contacted the property with our requests before providing a full payment, and Anja from Ferienhaus Waldorf team replied right away with their confirmation. When we arrived, we found that our rental home was a nice old building but with very good renovation inside. Later on I tried to google the history of this town, and it looks like the history of this building is going back to the end of 19th century. Very often, you rentals look so good on pictures, but in the reality they are not as expected. Here we had completely the opposite situation. It’s a three-story building, very well furnished, and we found everything that we needed inside and outside - comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living rooms, terrace with outdoor furniture, and even a gym. My husband had to work remotely while we were on our vacation, so he had his own ‘office’ on the first floor (actually the coolest area in the house) where he was able to work and even take naps. But what impressed me the most were some gifts left for us by the owner family - a lot of local yummy treats. They prepared for the guests very thoroughly - placed candies in the kids’ rooms, board games, markers, coloring books and many other things. During these 10 days we felt at home actually even though we were thousands of miles away from it. Even indoor and outdoor plants gave us a ‘home’ feeling, and we took care and watered them with pleasure. I wish we can come back to this old German house in a few years again.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was perfect just up the road from 2 supermarkets. Room was a good size and well ventilated. Very happy with stay.

The Landhaus location and atmosphere are exceptional. Quiet, yet close to amenities like Globus, restaurants, and my brother’s home. Love the breakfast!
