Incredibly peaceful, quiet getaway! Hiking right out the door, super clean, perfect place to stay with our family

Beautiful quiet location. Good size room, excellent shower with great hot water, Renne was very helpful and obliging.

Our family stayed at Josenhof for a long weekend of hiking and relaxation. The accommodation was very nice and the view was beautiful! We are a family of four and found the apartment spacious and comfortable. We and our basset hound were very happy they were pet friendly 😊 We hope to visit again!

We felt right at home at the Rommelehof. We were three generations sharing the space and enjoyed the great food and comfortable accommodations. The kids loved feeding the cows and holding the kittens. We would love to return at some point in the future.

Hands down, one of the best stays we've had so far! 😄 An amazing and spacious apartment with a beautiful balcony. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures—if not even better! The location was perfect, with stunning views and plenty of breathtaking spots nearby. The highlight of our stay was the hosts. Herr Schutza was incredibly warm and welcoming. He was always available whenever we had questions and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. We will definitely be back again in the summer!

It’s a small family business and the hosts are very friendly and kind, the breakfast has homemade cold cuts and organic eggs of their own chicken right outside the house. The rooms are very clean and newly renovated and the house kept the vibe of the traditional Black Forest culture. The place is perfect for couples and families and there are many activities close to the house, some are even free or half price for guests. There were definitely no bed bucks anywhere and it’s the best value for money you can find in the area.

Brand new place. Clean. Spacious with a full complement of brand new appliances. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. The air conditioning was a lifesavers during the European summer heatwave.

The attention to detail makes all the difference and it is apparent here! The entire building is so well cared for and you must have a dinner here..it is aewsome.

The breakfast spread was incredible. Much better than anything I've ever experienced in the US, and I travel often. I wish I had arrived sooner to have dinner and to experience the sauna.

If I could give six stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. The food would earn a couple Michelin stars, the facility was exceptional and all in a beautiful setting. What really stood out was the staff. Without exception, they were earnestly friendly without the slightest hint of superficiality. After three nights we felt like part of their family. Highest recommendations!

We're doing the Westweg and this hotel is on the way. Perfect place. Very welcoming staff room was perfect. We arrived before they open, no problem we stayed on their restaurant terrace and bought some drinks at the grocery juste across the street.

The property was a charming building in a beautiful setting, with absolutely stunning views. The rooms were very pleasant. Bathrooms were clean and modern, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the German duvets. The dining room was gorgeous, with delicious dinner menu and breakfast buffet. The owner and all staff were friendly, accommodating, and just very nice people all around. I highly recommend this hotel.
