The property is surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains. The hotel is very moderns and upgraded. The staff is incredible. The amenities are so amazing. The food is so so good.

It’s a beautiful and comfortable hotel in an excellent location for hiking and biking. Our suite overlooked the lake and mountains with an incredible view. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious.

Such a quiet, peaceful place! The highlight is definitely the huge balcony with a magnificent, direct view of the mountains. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful - I initially thought she only spoke German, but her English turned out to be great as well. Inside, the apartment is spacious and has everything you need.

Frau Eder was a very welcoming host and made us great breakfasts every day. The room, though small, was well equipped and had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. When we first arrived in Klais, we were a little taken aback at how small the village is, but it turned out to be at the center of a network of paths and trails, so is great for hiking and we went swimming in several of the nearby lakes. There is also a small bistro next to the station that is open every day except Wednesday. Make sure that you get the Alpenwelt guest card which gives you free travel on the local buses and trains, and some discounts to local attractions including a free ride on one of the chairlifts. Garmisch and Mittenwald are short bus/train rides away, and it's not too difficult to travel further afield to Oberammergau and Linderhof Palace.

Great buffet breakfast and evening meals. Ideal location for use of guest bus passes. Numerous local and reachable hiking trails.

It is a nice and cozy house with a yard for kids to play. There is also a nearby hill to play sleigh or light skiing. The host are really helpful with instructions and guide. Recommended for weekend gateway and if you're planning to explore the attractions in Garmisch.

Very nice, modern and comfortable apartment. Kitchen is perfectly equipped, including coffee, tea, e.t.c. Friendly owner.

The kitchen is great and very well equipped. The living room and dining area were very nice. The parking was easy and comfortable. The host left a guest book with a lot of recommendations which we found helpful.

This is a hidden gem of a place for couples. New construction was not only very well designed, it was highly thought out. The space is really eye pleasing, plus you look out over the mountains from the window. All rooms including the bathroom were extremely clean. Bonus is the very well stocked kitchen adorned with a broad array of utensils and heavy duty cookware, lovely for a full cooking experience. We lacked for nothing. The area was quiet and the host was super nice to work with. Many activities close by to partake. Chickens just across the street to wake you up in the morning. This is the first place I will choose when returning.

The property is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It is right outside of Garmisch and part of the way to Mittenwald. It has beautiful views and a fantastic restaurant! The owner and her family are so lovely and welcoming. You will love your stay here!

The location is gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent!
