We had no idea what a beautiful, historic town we had chosen for our hotel. We were on a road trip and we stopped there. It is an old, cosy hotel with a unique atmosphere, and it is within walking distance of the castle. I was glad they had an elevator, even though the building is old. The staff are friendly. There is free parking. The rooms are bright, large, and very nicely furnished. They are of a very high standard. The pillows, duvets and mattresses are all comfortable. We slept really well there. Some of the old furniture shows signs of wear, but we didn't mind. I really liked the carpet with a royal symbol on it. The pillowcases and duvet covers had a lovely design; they weren't plain white, but rather a soft yellow colour. The room also had a refrigerator with free mineral water. The bathroom had everything I needed, and I was glad there was a radiator because it was very cold. The breakfast is amazing and delicious, with lots of choice and pastries that are fresh and still warm. I really appreciated that breakfast was peaceful, with no loud conversations or shouting children. I noticed that the staff often replenished the food, wiped the tables and brushed the chairs, so that everything was clean for the next people. This was really exceptional. You get great value for your money.

Very nice and quiet hotel really close to the palace and not that far away from the train station; clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Quite a few places to get food nearby. A good starting point for walking or bike trips in the palace park

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home! Everything was perfect — the communication with the owner was excellent, the house was very neat and well-maintained, and the facilities were great. We especially enjoyed the pool and the calm, beautiful neighbourhood, which was a lovely escape from our busy schedules. Parking was convenient, right in front of the house, and the owner was very responsive to all our queries, making the experience even smoother. Unfortunately, the rain kept us from fully exploring the neighbourhood and the nearby Barracuda Beach, but that only gave us another reason to come back. We would definitely love to visit this place again in the future!

Unfortunately, the rain kept us from fully exploring the neighbourhood and the nearby Barracuda Beach, but that only gave us another reason to come back. A hidden pearl in a small town. Best hotel we have been at in this price range. Really cozy inside and nice town to walk around in. The resultant was also good and they’re going to information regarding how look the restaurant was open. Free parking by the way and everything was easy to find. Trip from DK to Germany we found to long so this was perfect and they was in Berlin in early morning.
