Buffet breakfast is the best I have experienced with a corporate franchise hotel. Evidently Quito area has no shortage of excellent chefs. Airport shuttle service is only 5 minute drive to and from airport. 24HR convenience store located at parking level of the airport. Filtered water stations conveniently located throughout the hotel.

Very very friendly staff. Easy parking. The room itself was fairly comfortable and I didn’t feel like I needed heating or A/C. I appreciated the filtered water on offer in the lobby. Breakfast in the room consisted of eggs, toast, coffee, pineapple juice.

Las Hortensias is a great family-owned hotel close to the airport in Quito. The staff is super friendly, we really felt like at home there. The rooms are very clean and the hospedaje is located in a rather rural, quiet area which we really appreciated. The breakfast is great and is prepared directly for each guest individually. There are options to have dinner there as well. They also arrange transports from and to the airport (and also to the city center) - we used this service a few times and can really recommend it.
