Celeste and Antoine are warm and generous hosts. Both have incredible knowledge of the area and are extremely gifted in interior design and architecture. The room/apartment we stayed in was the epitome of French charm and beauty. It was so lovely that we found it hard to leave. Ouville la Rivière is a quaint and quiet town with its own market and pastry shop… which has wonderful salads and sandwiches as well as delicious breads and pastries. Not far, one can find many little towns by the sea, wartime history, hikes everywhere, and Abbeys m, Chateaus, and churches in abundance. We will definitely return to this magical place.

The location was excellent, with the city centre, the port and the beach within easy walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable with attractive decor. There was adequate storage space for our bikes. The owner (Colin Rowan) provided excellent guidance on shops, restaurants, bars etc.
