Hotels with Parking in Bourniquel

Karine and David, the hosts, were so friendly and welcoming. The property is beautifully designed and well appointed. The breakfast basket was delivered each day at a time we could designate. It included eggs, a baguette, pastries, the most delicious butter, jam, local honey, yogurt, home made granola, and a fresh fruit salad. Great kitchen, coffee maker, fridge and freezer. Lovely patio in front of each accommodation, and lots of lovely seating areas in a common courtyard, complete with a ping pong table and a petanque terrain. Each of the units has a living room, and in addition, there is a very welcoming common living area with lots of comfy seating, an 'honor bar' stocked with beer and wine, a 'corner store' with local delicacies and local goods. We happened to be there during the world cup, and the host graciously projected the game for us on a screen in the living room. The pool is lovely and has lots of comfortable seating, chaise lounges and umbrellas, and a spectacular view. It was a beautiful and quite place to stay!. We had such a nice time that we didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay another day! La Jolie Vie deserves more than a 5 star review!

Beautiful old farm building- restored with care and love. Comforting and warming experience. Lovely furniture. Peaceful atmosphere. Incredible host - very kind. Every morning she presented us with her home made yogurt and fruit preserves with fresh bread, tea and coffee shared with other travelers at a long table. Highly recommended.

The staff are very welcoming. The food at the restaurant is a traditional french menu, delicious and with some creative additions. The rooms are light and spacious with a very comfortable bed.

Plenty of choice , very well set out, dining area superb could not fault

We loved the hosts, they were very friendly and kind! We also loved the breakfast they prepared for us in the morning - we were so grateful for the personal touch and the delicious food!
