Highly recomended! It’s a cozy little place run by a lovely couple. We got a room with ocean view and in reality it looked better than in the pictures. Breakfast was good with either french or english options. And the hosts were super welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay there!

Offering barbecue facilities and inner courtyard view, Rose by the sea - Beach front sea views is situated in Hirel, 15 km from The Pointe du Grouin and 18 km from Solidor Tower.

We've been traveling in Europe for over 2mo by both bicycle and now car staying at over 48 lodging accomodations. Rose by the Sea was by far the best; we were able to relax and feel like we were home. Not saying our previous "10's" were bad, this was by far our top spot. Rose & Charlie did an outstanding job creating a small guest cottage across the street from the beach, complimented with everything you would need for a comfortable stay that was extremely clean. The morning breakfast with fresh breads, coffee and locally sourced jams/yogurt delivered to you was an added bonus. We can't say enough...this is the best and we are appreciative we were able to stay here. We hope to return to Rose by the Sea during our next travels to FR and stay a bit longer.

Wonderful French couple! Made our visit to France so memorable. They were very helpful in exploring the area. The children loved seeing their horses and beautiful rose garden.
