The hotel is located on the town square. The room was fine - albeit a little small and up 2 flights of stairs with no lift - which for 2 guys carrying moorcycle gear and luggage was a tad tiresome at the end of the day. Parking was free and right out front. The fact that the restaurant was open - indeed the ONLY open restuarant in town that day - was a blessing and the food and wine did not disappoint.

Staying in La Fortinerie Glamping Bell Tent was for me a very nice experience which I recommend to everyone who wants to be in the nature without while having basically all the confort of an apartment. The tent is sorrounded by trees on three side and in front there is a nice garden with many facilities for relaxing. The hosts are very amable making all the efforts to ensure a excellent staying experience.

We had a very calm and relaxing holiday at La Fortinerie! The hosts Tina and Julian gave us a warm welcome and they were around whenever we would need anything during our stay. The tent is very spacious and well equipped. It was so nice sit on the deck and watch the beautiful surroundings. The Hot Tub was a nice bonus, it is clean and works like a charm. The camping is very nice, you can see Tina and Julian have paid lot of attention to detail in every area. The bed in the tent was a bit hard to our liking but that is a matter of preference. We can recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a nice, small camping with more than good facilities in a nice and calm area.

the property was well equipped and comfortable …. it had everything we needed. The hosts were warm , friendly and helpful. Also great location for getting around the Loire area.

This place has something Unique, the authenticity and passion makes it a true experience. The place is restored with care which makes you feel like being part of the history. Make sure you take your time for a chat with the owners, their story will make it even more remarkable. We stayed 1 night, but looking back this place is more suited to stay more than a night, in order to feel the experience.
