A beautiful, historic building of stunning architecture. Despite it being a chilly day and the property being enormous, it was lovely and warm inside. The room was large, beautifully furnished and comfortable. All the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient I couldn’t fault our stay and can not understand the negative reviews I read prior to our stay. The food was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were of a really high quality. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage with Connie who was lovely.

The room was very nice, clean and warm. I did not use any of the other facilities as I was visiting family, where I had all my meals. The car park was very busy as there was a function on one of the nights.

My room was on the first floor and had a separate bathroom down the corridor for my exclusive use. Bit unusual not to have an en-suite but was very clean, warm and private. There was a band on in the evening but they just finished their last song as I was arriving back to my room so not too noisy. Breakfast was extra but it was well worth it. A good atmosphere, very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Room was a great size, bed was very comfortable, room clean, bathroom lovely and clean - no signs of mould (my pet hate). Staff were amazingly helpful and very friendly. Brilliant location for weddings at the Holy Trinity Church. Brilliant location for events at the Conservative Club. Free car parking outside of the pub for Disabled visitors and Free parking in the village/market square - 2 second walk from the pub.
