We were staying in one of the lodges. I can only say that we were pleasantly surpised by our accommodation. We loved the lodge. It was spacious, well equiped, clean and the bed were very good. All in all a very comfortable stay. The only thing we missed was an oven dish. The area the lodge was in was nice and quiet. The main house is beautiful, although the old features, like the fountain and stairs in the (Italian) garden need some attention. It would be nice to see it restored to its former glory. There are nice walks in the area and it is really close to Canterbury and the ferry terminal in Dover.
