Lovely location in central Devon, giving easy access to both north and south coasts and inland attractions. The lodge is a working farm and is very interesting in itself. It is a 'bit off the beaten track', but this makes it a fantastic secluded getaway. The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful but do not interfere with your stay.

Very peaceful rural location in a lovely setting with trees and green area to enjoy privately. Hosts very welcoming on arrival and dealt courteously with the arrival( for a short visit) of close family members while we were on our way back to the chalet.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

A beautiful location with great views. Everything we expected and more. Peaceful and restorative. Fantastic garden and surroundings. Tastefully furnished. Loved the shower. Electric bed to adjust for a good night's sleep. Plenty of updates and clear instructions on how to reach the property.

We have stayed at many different properties both in the UK and mainland Europe. This was by far the best! Well equipped, comfortable and clean. It really was a “home from home” with obvious care taken to provide the guest with everything required. Beautiful en-suite bedrooms, great views over the surrounding countryside, private parking space, multi channel TV and excellent WiFi (important for us).

It’s definitely the best home-hotel I’ve ever had during my traveling in the UK. The room is big and cozy and with all facilities I need. It’s close to the station too. I had to check out early so the hotel prepared me a big pack of breakfast.(I’m sorry I don’t know the gentleman’s name.) I really appreciate that…. Anyway, everything was perfect!!! It’s such a shame I just stayed there for one night,i hope I could go back Tiverton again:)
