We really enjoyed our stay at the villa located in this quiet village. It was very hot in Crete during our stay, and as the villa is a bit higher up in the mountains than sea-level, temperatures were milder as well; 38°C actually felt good. The host wished us welcome with fresh cake, raki, local wine and olive oil and made us feel very welcome from the start to the end. They answered swiftly and even checked up with us how we where doing during the stay. The villa is well located for exploration of Chania and Rethymno. We loved Kalami beach ;-) The sound of sicades was distanced enough to be enjoyable and in the evenings sirisses and crickets song their calm tune. The church nearby sounds the hours and the half hours and was very charming.

The apartment is very comfortable, everything you need for a nice stay is there. It´s nice that there is a washing machine. The hosts Stella and Emmanuel are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.
