Our vacation at the windmill was just wonderful! We were received very nicely and given a "guided tour" of the mill with lots of interesting information about the history of the mill and the island. We also got a lot of great excursion and restaurant tips for our one-week stay on Kythira. We even had some local products as a welcome gift. The windmill is very lovingly furnished and had everything we needed (kitchen and bathroom) and there was enough room for a family of four and our dog. Halfway through our stay, the mill was cleaned and the beds made up and towels changed. It's really been a great experience and we'll definitely be back when we're on the island again. Lock box, self check-in. Great location, 5 minute walk from the city, close to restaurants etc. Very strategic location on the island itself, as it's 20 minute by car from all the best beaches (south, west, even north). The house is comfortable, has everything that you need and is quiet. We had an issue with the ferry (due to winds had a 3 day delay) and the host was extremely accommodating in extending our stay, for which we are thankful.

It was well located, close to Livadi, not far from restaurants, cafes, super market etc.There is an legendary pottery workshop down the road called Roussos, not to be missed. The pool was big, clean and always quiet. The rooms are very clean.
