Very friendly people, on a very quiet and remote little corner of Greece! Excellent coffee & breakfast, access to 3-4 beach taverna/restaurants on walking distance. Would recommend this to anyone coming in! Extra bonus points for the cute dogs the owners have! :) Will visit again in the future,dont think of this one twice 😊

Excellent very large beachfront apartment. Spacious balcony with well equipped furniture and superb views of the bay. Sun beds provided and great swimming. Very quiet and fairly remote location. with a couple of fish tavernas nearby. On site parking

The Tainaron Blue Retreat hotel is a magical place: the surroundings and the view are magnificent, the hotel is very charming, combining modernity and tradition, and Kostas and his team were incredible kind and helpful. The food is amazing!

Lovely 2-storey stone house in vacant town, easy to find. My friend stay in both BR upper floor to see ruins along sloped hil. From roof deck, view all the way to the sea/ best @ sunset. I stay in cozy kitchen-turn-BR, very atmosheric. Windy & rain at night in October. You are on your own in Vathia. Very few accommodation in Vathia. Only 3 on both nights I stay + 1 residence at village entry. Cats make a visit, especially if you do cooking. Most tour group & travelers comes & goes during the day. But walking around village in late afternoon [or morning] get best light. Best photo of whole villages from opposit hill further from Restaurant, only one nearby. Watch out for stone crumble. Spare food supply for cooking before arrive Vathia.
