Hotels with Parking in Kododa

Great and extremely helpful staff (esp. Jack, also Andi). A beautiful white-sand beach, and a very nice view out onto the water from the front porch of the cottage. Cool to have the turquoise lagoon out back. I was only there for one night but it sounded like there was good snorkeling in the area.

We upgraded for a little bit more to the best rooms category after we arrived. The standard rooms were very rustic and the middle category are not available on booking, but you can upgrade to these as well. They take care of their beach every day ( plastic and debris removal); the staff and owner are super nice and speak good English. The food is great with the obligatory fish and rice for lunch and dinner, but the add different vegetables and salad with it every meal. The reef, which ist still healthy to 75% and is just off the beach is fantastic and you can snorkeling around the e island in 1-1/2 hours. We paid 500,000 rupee for the pick up in Kandiri, which seems to be the going rate, but you can also take the public boat from Ampana, which stops at the village near Bolilinga, which you can see from the island. Our stay was super relaxing with nice beach chairs and hammock at our front porch. The evening action was always watching the sunset sitting in the little hut at the end of the pier, supported by an ice cold Bintang beer. Life couldn’t be better.
