This is a great little place to stay if you want to visit Bromo, and they'll even arrange a tour for you if you like. The whole aesthetic of the place is very cool and worth seeing. And they also have a great little cafe onsite with better food and drinks than one might expect from a small hotel/homestay. In fact, we noticed that the cafe is also a place that locals frequent, not just guests. The owners even gave us a ride to the bus station for a small fee since we had no way of getting there ourselves. Overall, we had a great experience here.

The facilities were top notch. Breakfast you’ve the option for western / Asian. Oussama and Rani (and little Cais) have built this oasis right in front of the national park (you can hear the stream gently flowing infront of the balcony). Both are avid hikers that have been here and there, hear their stories and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Rooms are spacious, bed confortable, toilets properly taken care of and I can assure you’ll end up staying longer than you originally have planned here. If you want to do the Bromo tour (min 4 people) definitely book here as they won’t take you to the touristy sites, the National park is massive and they know some spots very of the beaten path away from the crowds and drones. A great place to disconnect from everything and just enjoy.

This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Very chilling vibe. Feels like in nature. Two sweet girls and Wiwen's big smile.. and Vico has helped me big time. I chose this place because I wanted to take some break from my busy traveling routine but also go to mt. Bromo for reasonable price. It PERFECTLY MATCHED my wish. !! I highly recommend to go to the waterfall with Vico, it was best waterfall experience of my life, and so said my friend as well. The bed is comfortable, no AC but definitely no need because the house is well designed. It is rather cold at night. Wiwen's food is always good... I rested well there. Made some henna cones there and shared with the girls, she made me a very sweet♡ custard pudding. Wish we could have hangout more. :)
