The property is lovely, very clean and incredibly well looked after. Nia and Ian do such an amazing job keeping everything together and making sure guests have everything they need. The bedroom was really nice and comfortable, and the shower had great hot water. Breakfast was amazing every single day — especially the egg toast! The outside seating area quickly became my little oasis, such a lovely place to sit and relax. The Wi-Fi was also surprisingly great and reliable. But what really makes this place special is Nia and Ian themselves. They are genuinely some of the kindest and most caring people we have ever met. During our stay, we experienced an earthquake, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and looked after. They helped us with everything, and after staying for a week, they really felt more like friends than hosts. You can tell how much care they put into the property and their guests. It genuinely felt like a home rather than just a place to stay.

Friendly helpful staff especially the lady at the front desk. (As well, she spoke great English) Very clean. Breakfast had good options. The dinner menu was awesome and very delicious. There is no restaurant on site so meals (dinner) are served in the breakfast area. I would highly recommend. Free taxi service to the airport greatly appreciated!

This was one the cleanest place I stayed in flores. The bathroom was very new and the place was very well taken care of. It was so nice to stay there after being in various other accommodations. The view is beautiful.

We had an absolutely incredible stay here! The rooms and bedrooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is comfortable, charming, and perfectly located near the Kelimutu volcano. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and genuinely attentive, making us feel at home from the very first moment. As for the breakfast—it is simply incredible, super generous, and the perfect fuel before or after a long day of exploring.

Brian and family are very nice people. No problem with Brian organizing tours or travel forward. We had two breakfasts at Hidayah-both different and both delicious and plentiful. Best shower we’ve had in a while and comfortable bed. Very good value $$$. Across from Mopi’s bar and restaurant which serves good drinks and food. Thanks again Brian

Our stay with Haja and her family at their guest house was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in all of Indonesia. We felt right at home as her rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious & there is a beautiful garden on property. Haja and her family set up wonderful excursions including the Kelimutu hike, Wologi weaving village, coffee plantation and more. They also handled all of our transportation to and from Ende. Haja’s cooking is spectacular and we so enjoyed getting to know her and her family. We cannot wait to come back and cannot recommend Mahoni Guest House enough.
