Room was and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the room was dirty. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. Smears and spots on the mirrors. There was a dead gecko on the floor next to the bathroom door jam. The hotel is on a very busy street with lots of road noise. I did not think to ask for a room on the non-Road side of the hotel. In addition, the hotel is very close to a mosque. There was some guy singing/chanting for an hour between about four and five in the afternoon and again early in the morning. It was very loud and woke me from sleep. I could not go back to sleep because the singing went on for a whole hour. Location was close to the Pasar Inpres market which I had an interest in visiting. I tried to walk there. The sidewalks were very rudimentary and hazardous. I would not stay at this hotel or in this location again.

Located in Balikpapan, Hotel O near Balikpapan International Airport formerly Barkah Guest House is 5.9 miles from Batakan Stadium.
