It was definitely our best stay with Booking.com. The hosts are great people, so generous! They made our stay as at home. The property has great location beside the lake. It is up to an hour drive to number of touristic locations.

The property is a beautiful old world country farmhouse and 'plenty of space' is no exaggeration it is huge. Its fully modernised with dishwasher, washing machine, central heating and stoves. A very well equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare family meals. When I first arrive I thought perhaps I had booked half the house as I couldn't believe I had all this for the money I paid. So would have to say excellent value to be had with this holiday letting. It's located in the hills outside the small village of Leap, while Skibbereen is just ten minutes away. The scenery, seclusion and beauty of the area is breathtaking. Everything you need for a great getaway and a great base for touring the Munster region of the country.

It was a fantastic space to relax and the beds were comfy so I got a great sleep. Very handy location as we were €20 taxi ride to Rosscarbury where we had dinner reservations. Also lots of recommendations of what to do in the surrounding areas on the table. Marcella was great to communicate with and very quick to respond to any queries we had which was much appreciated as it makes everything less stressful.

The location is amazing, we loved every moment here. The entire house is excellent including the garden, the surrounding, also the beds were super comfortable, and our childred loved the pond. It was nice entering the house with some welcome music, we liked it a lot :) And I loved the scented candles in the living room. The kids fed the fish every day, right after waking up :) For me, this place is the best accomodation so far since I registered to Booking.com. And it was not Yesterday :D
