Nice location ,friendly staff but food quality can be improved. We got stucked in Lachen for 10 days leftover with only few cash as today's generation is more dependent on online transactions but despite our constraints ij those 10 days ,staff helped us during our entire stay from keeping food to accommodation almost free and kept our mental peace in balance specially small guy i think his name was Kartik. So go for hotel if you are coming for 2-3 days

The hotel was good in terms of the room, and cleanliness was ok, but the bathroom was poor in that. Space and all was fine but there were insects here and there. Blankets however were pretty warm and heater wasn't required. Finding such a good hotel in lachen might not be possible but the rates can be drastically reduced

We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities in the camp which included an electric blanket. Well maintained and clean camp. The caretaker Raj was very friendly and ensure that we had hot food when we arrived late in the evening. Overall an enjoyable experience

Comfortable rooms with a great view of the mountains. The room was temperature controlled. They packed breakfast for us as we had to leave early although it was mediocre. The food was good at dinner.

The location is mind blowing. We could literally see the snow capped mountains from our window. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and go out of the way to ensure that their guests are happy, by that I mean all the boys actually went down 40kms to get a cake for my daughter's birthday. Special thanks to Abhijeet, who took good care of us. And Sanjay who always has a smile on his face. BTW the food is great too. Not a big spread but you don't go to Lachung to just gobble, do you ;)
