Even though we checked in almost 5 hours late, the receptionist and the security guard welcomed us very warmly and made us feel comfortable in every way. The receptionist only went home after confirming that we had settled in properly. The parking facility was good, the rooms were very spacious, and everything—kitchen facilities, bed, AC, and all amenities—was excellent.

I have been travelling for one full year now and this was hands down my favourite stay of the whole trip! This was all thanks to the host Deepa. From the moment me and my mom entered the homestay until the moment we left we felt at home and couldn't have been more comfortable. We were welcomed with the warmest smile every time we entered! Deepa is such an open and warm hearted person and really does everything in her power to help the guests as much as she can. She cooked delicious meals for us and recommended the best places to stay! She even came with us on the canoeing trip and made sure we had an incredible time. Her son and mother who are also staying at the house are super sweet as well! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. Wifi was good. Location was great. We can't recommend this place enough, thank you from the both of us Deepa for such a nice stay! ❤️

A lovely family with whom to stay in a relatively new concrete bungalow across the street from the river, where the backwater canoe trip picks you up. Good sized room and bath with excellent hot water. A nice porch on which to eat excellent home-cooked meals for breakfast and dinner (dinner costs extra).
