Quiet, clean, and the perfect location to visit the glacial lagoon and black beach. We loved the large porch. It would have been great if the weather allowed for a view of the Northern Lights.

This was my favorite stay of our whole trip. The cutest little home and the most peaceful scenery. It is managed by the huge hotel in the area so it has all the nice amenities, but also kind of felt like I was visiting family because it was so cozy. Loved the full kitchen, the TV, the dining area for card games with family. They also light up the waterfall/mountainside at night which was stunning. Will dream of coming back to this spot when I think of my Iceland trip!

We stayed in one of the 3 cottages. Three bedrooms/two baths (one bedroom is in a loft). Nice common area. Full kitchen. Waterfall in the back. We went in winter so it was frozen, but still beautiful. If you're staying in a cottage you do need to check in at the hostel down the road so be sure and email them ahead. They have a restaurant a few blocks away that is delicious and they sell hand knitted authentic Icelandic sweaters there, too. About 20 minute drive from the lagoon/Diamond Beach. Highly recommend.
