Loved everything! The owners are amazing and guesthouse was clean, comfortable and a delight to stay at. You knew exactly what to do to check in as the owners greeted you in advance and gave instructions. The beds are extremely comfortable and I felt so snug under the blanket provided! Breakfast was a delight. There is more than enough on-site parking and 2 charging stations for electric vehicles. Highly recommend!!!!

The cabin was spotlessly clean and, although compact, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality of Ramune and Airas. Communication was always quick, clear, and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They provided great recommendations for activities on rainy days, kindly helped us by washing our hiking clothes, and even surprised us with small packs of Skyr to take along on our hikes. These thoughtful gestures added a personal touch to our stay and made us feel very welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed staying in this cosy cabin. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Unique experience in nice and cosy bungalows. There are toilets inside, which was really nice! We thought the toilets would be outside with the showers, but this was not the case. There is a hot tub, but we were so tired that we didn’t go inside it. It is really cool though! The owner was super super nice, she has two cute dogs and a cat who greeted us. On the lawn is a stone and mineral collection of her sister who found them around Iceland. Supercool! We love these kind of personal touches to such locations. It was nice and quiet. A bit windy, but that’s the season. The bungalows are very sturdy. So no issues there. If I had to name something that I missed, it’s only that the beds are separate, so there is no shared two person bed. But we knew this before we booked it.

Use of the spa was included in the price and only one other guest used the facilities while we did. The track to the hotel was fine despite the heavy snow. General vibe. Lovely dogs!
