We had an absolutely wonderful one-night stay at this beautiful wooden house! Traveling as a group of six with two cars, we found the property perfectly suited to our needs and far exceeded our expectations. The house is impressively spacious, featuring three cozy bedrooms and a large living room with a comfortable couch — perfect for relaxing together. Everything was spotless and inviting, and the cleanliness truly stood out. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed (and more!), including a lovely surprise gift of chocolate. The additional technical room with a washing machine and cleaning supplies was a thoughtful bonus, especially for longer stays. We were delighted to find designated parking for both of our cars right outside. The surrounding garden is stunning, with mature trees and complete privacy—no neighbors in sight, just peace and quiet. The warm wooden interior and natural insulation made the house feel incredibly cozy. One of the highlights was the sparkling clean jacuzzi that comfortably fit 4-5 people. So relaxing! The detailed instructions provided for every appliance made everything effortless, and the owner was phenomenal, responding instantly to a late-night message when we had a small issue. Such dedication and hospitality made a huge difference! All in all, this stay was a gem—fantastic value for money and a hidden oasis of calm. We'd love to return for a longer visit next time!

We stayed in one of the separate cottages and it was perfect! Large, modern, clean and comfortable. It had a large sliding door with a private patio overlooking the golf course and mountains. A sauna and hot tub was located just steps away and a great bonus. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food and wine was delicious! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and includes everything you need for a wonderful stay (plenty of towels, bedding, hair dryer, kitchen appliances, puzzles, books, etc.). The hosts were great communicators and not only provided information on the house, but also on nearby sites and restaurants. and we got to see the Northern Lights!

The accommodations were very modern and well appointed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was very relaxing with an exceptional view of the surrounding area. The dinner that was offered was simple (soup, bread, deserts), but excellent, as was the breakfast food. The bar in the lobby is a nice amenity, as there is nothing else in close proximity of the property. I would recommend this as a stopping place as you explore this area of Iceland.
