Very quiet and peaceful place, easy to find and easy to get around by car. Lovely pool, excellent food, lots of parking, very good AC system, very good water pressure in the large shower. Communication with the host was easy and efficient and we were made to feel very much at home!

Could not have asked for a more wonderful stay. Roberta is the kindest and most thoughtful host — she welcomed me with such warmth and even prepared a homemade breakfast full of love the banana brownie was unforgettable!), which made it feel like being at home. The house itself is beautifully renovated, everything feels fresh and inviting. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and makes it easy to prepare meals if you’d like.

Where do I begin? From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest welcome from Marco and Sandrine, who were genuinely delighted to have us staying at their beautiful property. We were greeted with welcome drinks, which we enjoyed by the stunning pool, a wonderful way to start our stay. With only five rooms, OrtoNoto offers an intimate and peaceful retreat. Our room was beautifully designed, combining style with comfort, and featured luxurious linens, fluffy towels, robes, and high-quality toiletries. We chose to dine at the property two evenings. Marco’s cooking was exceptional, and his wine recommendations were both excellent and great value. Be sure to arrive with a healthy appetite as the portions are wonderfully generous! Breakfast is unlike a typical Italian breakfast, with no cake in sight. Instead, there’s an impressive selection of freshly cooked dishes alongside a wide variety of continental options. Sandrine’s homemade granola and jams are absolutely delicious, and the scrambled eggs and omelettes were among the best I’ve ever had. The pool area and newly landscaped gardens are simply stunning. Everywhere you look, you can see the care, thought, and attention to detail that Marco and Sandrine have put into creating such a special place.

A magical stay in the Sicilian countryside We had a truly wonderful stay at Aguglia Persa. The property is a beautifully restored traditional Sicilian baglio in Noto area, surrounded by nature and full of charm. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for peace, nature, and authenticity. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and full of lovely details, with our own private outdoor space to relax. Birgitta, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She gave us great tips on places to visit and eat, and even let us use the barbecue and pick fresh fruit and berries from the garden – such a special touch! The location is perfect for exploring the area – just a short drive from Noto, Vendicari and other beautiful spots. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful Sicilian escape!

Cleanliness, pool area, very quiet and peaceful location, unique taste in-room decoration

An incredible place with a very calm, almost grounding energy. Absolute silence, nature all around, birds, starry skies… you really feel like you reset here. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with a strong sense of aesthetics in every detail. At the same time, it’s very convenient.. just 15-20 minutes to town, and then you’re back in complete peace and quiet.

Unique experience in Sicilia‘s middle of nowhere. Rebuilt monastery, small agriturismo hotel, managed by one of the best host - Domenico - one can imagine, super friendly, funny & great hints for local activities & open to give insights in Sicily history & culture. Completely quiet place, hiking (canyon) nearby & historical sights & towns in acceptable driving distance. Clearly recommended 👍

The house is situated in a very calm and peaceful area, about a 10-minute drive from Palazzolo Acreide, which has a lot to offer, including supermarkets, nice restaurants, and interesting archaeological sites. The entire house was at our disposal, spread over two floors, with a living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped, featuring a gas stove, a large dining table, and everything needed for cooking. The living room had a comfortable couch, and the house offers gas heating, which is essential when visiting in winter. We also appreciated the fast Starlink internet. The house is old and has a historic charm, with massive wooden furniture and traditional decorations. Parking was very convenient, inside the yard directly in front of the house. Mr. Gallo, who manages the house on behalf of the owner, was very kind, helpful, and forthcoming. Toiletries, towels, and extra blankets were provided very generously compared to other accommodations we stayed in. The house was clean, welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
