Casa Balat
Casa Balat by far exceeding my expectations on many levels! The photos on Booking.com look nice but in reality, the place is even nicer. Exquisitely decorated, very comfortable, all amenities we needed were available, very quiet neighborhood, lush green all around, beautiful outside area - so much so, that I will have to visit again when it's warm enough to swim in the beautiful pool!! The host was also very responsive and very helpful for anything we needed. Very highly recommended!!

VILLA FARGIONE
The house is situated in a very calm and peaceful area, about a 10-minute drive from Palazzolo Acreide, which has a lot to offer, including supermarkets, nice restaurants, and interesting archaeological sites. The entire house was at our disposal, spread over two floors, with a living room, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped, featuring a gas stove, a large dining table, and everything needed for cooking. The living room had a comfortable couch, and the house offers gas heating, which is essential when visiting in winter. We also appreciated the fast Starlink internet. The house is old and has a historic charm, with massive wooden furniture and traditional decorations. Parking was very convenient, inside the yard directly in front of the house. Mr. Gallo, who manages the house on behalf of the owner, was very kind, helpful, and forthcoming. Toiletries, towels, and extra blankets were provided very generously compared to other accommodations we stayed in. The house was clean, welcoming, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We’ve had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff is very accommodating and willing to provide you with the best service possible. The room was large and comfortable and had powerful airconditioning. The pool is a great spot to wind down after visiting the pretty villages nearby or is also inviting just to stay at the hotel for the day. When the receptionist noticed we were traveling with a vintage car she immediately proposed we park it inside the grounds which was great. As we traveled with our dog this stay was perfect because the hotel has adjacent a private Forrest we could use to walk the dog. 🙂👌 And last but not least they have a great restaurant on site for lunch and diner. So when you feel like staying in and unwinding in the Sicilian countryside this hotel is perfect to do so.

Could not have asked for a more wonderful stay. Roberta is the kindest and most thoughtful host — she welcomed me with such warmth and even prepared a homemade breakfast full of love the banana brownie was unforgettable!), which made it feel like being at home. The house itself is beautifully renovated, everything feels fresh and inviting. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and makes it easy to prepare meals if you’d like.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable stay – we can’t wait to come back! From the moment we arrived, Marco and Sandrine welcomed us like family and made us feel completely at home. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went out of their way to make sure every aspect of our visit was perfect. The rooms were immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The entire property has such a peaceful atmosphere. If you’re looking for somewhere to truly switch off, relax, and recharge, this is the perfect place. Breakfast was a highlight every morning. Prepared by Marco and Sandrine themselves, it was fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel for three nights in a row, and it turned out to be one of the best culinary experiences of our trip. There is no fixed menu because Marco personally shops for the freshest local ingredients each day, creating dishes based on what’s in season. Every meal was exceptional—fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The wine selection was fantastic too, with excellent choices to complement every dinner. The pool area was another favourite spot—peaceful, beautifully kept, and the perfect place to unwind while soaking up the Sicilian sunshine. Marco and Sandrine have created something truly special. It’s rare to find hosts who are so passionate about what they do and who genuinely care about making every guest’s stay memorable. They certainly succeeded with us. Thank you, Marco and Sandrine, for an incredible stay and for making us feel so welcome. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely be back!
