Il Mulino dell Abbazia is a great place. It offers a comfortable and relaxed stay in a historical building renovated with taste and a love for details. Chilling in the evening after a long day of traveling with a glass of wine on their sundeck and listening to the sound of the nearby river was most beautiful. It's a small place run by a friendly staff that will make you feel at home. It's a good location for exploring nearby places such as Cormons or Cividale.

The house is a dream, antique countryhouse renovated with love and taste to every detail, equipped to a high standard. It is so lovely that you almost forget to explore the region because you will want to stay inside (never happened to me before!). The host family is wonderful, Luisella is there to help with any little request without ever being intrusive. It can get hot inside in summer, but since there is aircon no need to worry.
