We had absolutely wonderful stay at Fattoria Santa Lucia Borgo alla Cantina! Alessa was amazing host and made sure every guest was treated with extra care. The dinner served in the restaurant blew our minds, antipasto buffet was the best we’ve ever had!

Agriturismo Due Comuni is a restored farmhouse estimated to have been constructed in 1784. The restoration was amazing and so relaxing. We reviewed over 100 properties before booking with Agriturismo Due Comuni and I am so happy we did. The host was very responsive to messages before arrival and the entire time we were there. The room had a kitchen, breakfast area and sofa along with a sizeable bedroom which provided plenty of storage for our clothes. The bathroom was very nice with a walk in shower. We opted for the breakfast each day and it was truly awesome (see photos). The setting of that room with the stone walls and arched ceiling was amazing how they incorporated the old with the new. Our host was there each morning setting the tables, preparing the food and coffee. She was so helpful throughout our entire stay and very pleasant to talk to and work with. We truly appreciate the wonderful hospitality. In addition, for a small fee they provide laundry service and they produce and sell their own Olive Oil and Honey on the property. We took full advantage. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat in the country accessible (less than an hour drive) to Florence, Pisa, Lucca or the Beach, this is the place for you. Our host recommended several places in Pontedera (about 14 minutes drive) for restaurants (pizza!!) and groceries (Lidl or Coop). I really enjoyed the small town vibe without all the people and traffic. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again in the near future.

The owner was very kind with us and cooked a very good dinner. The place is very beutiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoy the nature. There are some alpaca and other animals living in the park below the rooms.

We have experienced a week in Montecastello which we will never forget. It is always a little bit a surprise when you arrive at your holiday location, as you never know how it will be in reality. I can only say that upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a wonderful, warm person who showed us around in the house. We were also given an apple pie as a welcome. The house was very spacious, exactly like you see on the pictures. The swimming pool, which we had all by ourselves, was very big & clean. Our kids have spent hours in the pool. Our host passed by the house every day, to work in his garden & to clean the swimming pool (if needed). On a regular basis, we were given fresh fruits & eggs coming out of his garden, thank you so much for this!! In case of questions towards tips for local restaurants, cantinas & others, our lord gaves us great, local recommendations. We were unfortunate that during our stay, the biggest storm in decades, passed over the region. This caused blocked streets due to fallen trees & electricity which went out of service. Our lord has done everything which he could to help us & to make the situation as positive as possible (provided candles, lights, battery chargers for the phone). Luckily the electricity came back after the second day. Looking back on it, it was a great experience, sitting on the top of the hill in full darkness & silence. We can only recommend this location to other people, as we have had an amazing week in Montecastello!! I could see myself coming back. Grazie mille per tutto!!

Peaceful and beautiful farm stay just half an hour drive from Pisa airport. Room was well equipped and very clean, comfortable beds. Smart trick with honey to keep the insects away from breakfast on the terras. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed a day on the side of the pool. Owners clearly put efforts to maintain pool and it has beautiful views over the valley.
