A great value for the money! Convenient location in the middle of the city, near sightseeing areas. The old hotel is clean and very well kept. The rooms are also are big enough to have comfortable space. The bathroom has been renovated to be quite modern and clean, and the very soft water used for bathing is excellent, making it as good as much more famous and expensive places. The very large meals are also very unique, featuring local ingredients and preparation. The dining room is comfortable, and you do not need to kneel down on the tatami to sit.

The location of this property is excellent! Everything and everywhere you want to see and visit is within walking distance. I never knew how many wonderful places Aizuwakamatsu has. I had dinner a block away and I had breakfast 900 ft away. Then I also visited a museum next to the cafe. I even went grocery shopping around the corner from the property. The train station (Nanukamachi) that takes you to Yunokami Onsen is just a few mins away walking distance. I am very pleased to have booked this property. It will be my home away from home each time I visit Aizuwakamatsu.

I liked the quiet location. A delicious ramen shop was within walking distance and everyone was so kind. The home is spacious and met our needs wonderfully. The host had the house warm for us upon our arrival. Easy to get to and a pleasant stay.

Nice, clean place with a good common area for socializing with other guests. Very comfortable futon, and also a chair for those times when you don't want to sit on the floor. Equipped with Alexa in the common area.

    The hotel offers free parking. Breakfast was decent although not much for western choices. The staff was helpful when we wanted to borrow some plates and cutlery to use in the room to consume fruits that we bought elsewhere. Fairly central location so easy to get to the castle and other sites.

    Very nice and peaceful hotel. The staffs are helpful and are with great hospitality. The breakfast and dinner was very amazing. The onsen are very private. I rent a car. There are a lot of parking lots provided free of charges, but locate a bit towards the hill (not at the hotel lobby/front). You may need to temporary park a car at the hotel lobby to unload the luggage or let someone to check in first.

    The room is quite spacious as compared to other regular hotel in the big city. Not a new hotel but the cleanliness is good. The breakfast was really nice. There are several family restaurants and small supermarket near the hotel in a walking distance. I rent a car, so there is no comment about public transport. A lot of parking lots are provided free of charge. I have extra requested for two nearby room, the hotel can make it. You can easily contact the hotel staff via booking.com inbox.

    The breakfast service is mainly Japanese style, but also can get some western meals such as sausage, scramble egg, and coffee. There is sufficient parking lots for self-driving traveller, and the location is convenient, which is surrounding by kinds of restaurants and a large supermarket. They also provide a big bath pool, which is a very relaxing service.
