Amazing home with a variety of activities and lots of space to do whatever

The room was traditional, not a western style bed. The area was very nice, it was quiet, not far from the beach. Even just a nighttime walk around town was very peaceful and very quiet and very relaxing. The reservable private outdoor onsens certainly helped. Being under the stars in the hot bath after a day of exploring was magical. The combination of that with a firm sleeping surface really left me rejuvenated, and gave me the very relaxing weekend I hadn’t realized I desperately needed. There is a nice beach that’s in walking distance, along with some good restaurants. And all kinds of wonderful things in a reasonably short drive. I’ll be back for certain.

A very peaceful stay with clean stay. The staff was very polite and helpful, very responsive to our messages. He allowed us to checkin early, and gave advice to the places that we can visit within the town.

The staff was super helpful when I made a mistake on my arrival day. Honestly, Japan is the best! The people are the best! Thank you!

Location was fine. Quick drive into town.

Nice peaceful local hotel + public onsen. Almost no tourist at all, mostly senior citizens came here to enjoy onsen. Outside is windy as hell so outdoor onsen isn't available for us, but indoors are perfectly fine too. There's no shower room in the room, but everyone here came for onsen, so there's no need for that. Pleanty of room space and a little balcony to enjoy the view. They also have a space for our bike parking too!

Everything perfect as described Plus: our Road bikes were taken care of by being stored inside for the night. Greatly appreciated!

I love this place! So many great places to explore nearby and the owners are the sweetest. They can give you lots of advice on what do and see. The onsen was very nice as well. It was nice to find an affordable, tradition ryokan in an amazing location.

Love the room and lodge asthetic. Owners also own a wood fired restaurant and provide various excursions, but I only went to the restaurant and experience was just amazing. Lots of amenities available to guests and sauna room.

The facilities were clean, well-equipped, and the hosts were very welcoming.

We had a wonderful time in Matsuzaki! The guesthouse was lovely and so was our host and the other guests. I would definitely recommend staying here. We enjoyed sharing dinner around the fire in the evenings and received excellent recommendations on what to see and do. We also enjoyed riding the bikes into town.

Very good if you like transitional Japanese Ryokan. Food was served in the room.

Great view from then lobby and room. Convenient to walk to Sanshiro island. Outdoor onsen, Sauna and cold bath are the best.

Excellent location and view- very friendly staff and an amazing dinner. The bathing facilities are clean and the outdoor onsen is very unique. I recommend booking the big bath in the morning to get a direct sunrise view as you can open the windows.

Great view! The beach is amazing!

Excellent staff support for our comfortable stay. Beautiful view. This is a perfect example of the family-style hot spring resort that is a more affordable experience based on the ryokan model. Personally, I love it for the amenities, large tatami rooms, buffet, hot springs and general sense of relaxation. New Ginsui is a perfect version of that style and exactly what I wanted.

This place is truly special and beautifully secluded. Everything about it is charming – from the peaceful atmosphere to the breathtaking views. Watching the sunsets from the cliff was absolutely magical. It was the perfect spot for our honeymoon, and we only wish we had stayed longer. We’d definitely love to come back one day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and unforgettable escape!

All of the meals were exceptional. We loved having the privacy of being able to dine in our own meal room with an absolutely gorgeous view. We also loved being able to have our own onsen/rotenburo out on the deck. The notch in the balcony railing was great so we could see the beautiful scenery. And the amenities and all the complementary linens and clothing was extremely nice.

The property is located in a residential area so it was quiet and it was surrounded by nature. Mountains and a little river where you can stroll around. And there’s beaches nearby closest was less than 10 mins other beaches was 10-20 mins away so its all accessible. There’s a convenience store and grocery store nearby too. The property itself isn’t the usual apartment so we’re a bit shock but it was clean and has the stuff you need for a one night stay. There’s wifi too you just have to ask the host for the password. Towels and shampoo were provided too. And there’s a port too where you can fish.

New property just listed, free parking nearby, beach not far away.
