Both the owners are wonderful people who looked out for me and cooked incredible and delicious meals! I had the best experience with them and Christmas dinner and especially getting to go to the lodge Onsen! My room was nice with awesome ocean view too!

The couple who run this place are absolutely lovely people. The gentleman is a fisherman, and they serve fish he catches that day in the cafe. The home-cooking-style food was exceptional! The view from the front room is spectacular, and all night we enjoyed fresh air and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore.

This is a nice Japanese-style inn right across the street from a sandy beach, and a short drive from spectacular hiking along the Shakotan coastline. The restaurant at the inn serves outstanding food — including fish caught that day — at very reasonable prices. The couple who run MEGA are wonderful. They went far out of their way to make my stay comfortable.
