Hotels with Parking in Itchū

Excellent onsen - especially the outdoor bath Fresh coffee and Yuzu juice in the lobby was appreciated. Popcicles and Microwave on the 6th floor was a nice touch. Japanese floor bedding was very restful. Convenient onsite parking. Complementary Yukata and vest and towels provided every day for onsen use only.

Amazing view from the room of the valley, great facilities in the room, full kitchen, great location 5 mins drive from great onsen, vine bridge and waterfall.

My perfect introduction to a ryokan stay. The host was hospitable and made sure I was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner was so delicious, including local foods. The room itself was comfortable and the location a perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Iya Valley. Transport was also relatively easy: caught a local bus from Oboke Station, which ran even during the New Year holiday period (check times though and opt for earlier services in case).

I had a terrible sleep the night before so I contacted the property last minute asking for an earlier checkin and they incredibly accommodating. Although the cafe and restaurant I wanted to visit were both closed (things here close very early) I came here for rest not so much adventure. The room was comfortable, the shower facilities were large and nice and the shared-living space is cozy. Thank you!

Location is very convenient if you want to hike it’s close to Obeki and is close enough to Mount Tsuragi and the other tourist attractions, including double vine bridge There is a washing machine, kitchenette with Parking, which makes it very convenient

Location is really good, the road is comfortable to drive, better to drive during the day before the dark, but it’s a decent road to drive at night also. Should have a whole day available or a day in a half to be able to do more river activities. The room was big and there’s a fridge. The shared kitchen is spacious and I had it all to myself since there’s not many rooms. The shower is spacious as well and really good

This ryokan matches the movie image of a place where the staff pay attention to every need, every detail, and do everything in a super-polite way, down to the attendant at the front waving goodbye to you as you leave, until the hotel is lost from sight. It is the best ryokan I have ever stayed in during 4 trips to Japan. The room we had was excellent, roomy, with both meds and futons, and a massage chair we became addicted to. Everything was modern and worked well. Super clean.

Iya Onsen was exceptional – from the attentiveness of the staff, to the onsen itself, to the FOOD. I had several food restrictions, and I was fully expecting an okay meal, but they prepared an incredible, several course meal that ranks in top 10 for best meals I've ever eaten. Every little detail is meticulously thought out. The energy of the mountains and river are incredibly healing and can be felt. An outstanding stay, to say the least.

This was the best place we have stayed in for many many years. The property is a National Treasure, it is over 400 years old and the owners are direct descendants of the original owners. The history in the property is remarkable. The food is spectacular. The service from the parents and son who runs the property was second to none. We loved laying on the bed looking directly out to the most magnificent scenery. We had a wonderful walk up through the village. The spot is so quiet and peaceful. The entire property is very private and the owners are very discrete. The cedar bath was special. Seriously, if you are looking for a special couple of days in the Iya Valley, it would be very hard to find anything better than this. World class.

Everything was comfortable and well-located in a beautiful area. Ryu San was very accommodating of us as well.

The free use of the ebike was a bonus given the location , free access to the Onsen was also fantastic
