Hotels with Parking in Kiso

Great little hotel with character and helpful staff.

Beautiful accommodations, very friendly staff

A lovely hotel with exceptional staff. They were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The meals that we reserved ahead of time were delicious and beautifully presented. The shuttle service was perfect for our needs from the Kiso-Fukushima station to the hotel. We were hiking the Nakasendo Trail, and it was great to stay here. We left our luggage at the station lockers , as we were heading to Kyoto after our hike.

One of the most unique place I ever had been with an incredible staff and an one of a kind experience in Japan. You literally sleep in a classroom! Amazing!

The host was very friendly and accommodated my gluten free request. Thank you!

Nothing like it. Stunning view, amazing team, Michelin like food. Book it. Right now!

Peaceful, cool, excellent meal

Host was lovely, so helpful. Offered to drive us, gave us snacks, breakfast and coffee/tea also let us use umbrellas. Great stay, cozy and personal without being too much. Would definitely stay again

Very friendly staff and amazing meals; beautiful surroundings

Is managed by this old lady, which is so kind and welcoming, a real true experience!

The place and host Akiko-san were amazing. They brought us bento boxes each day and graciously offered to give us rides to the train station on each day of our stay. The place is wonderful, has everything I could ask for right from laundry to a jacuzzi. Loved every bit of our stay and definitely coming back again

I really felt welcomed by the staff, felt like in a school resort

Although we were able to stay for only one night we enjoyed our visit immensely. The homemade dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good and will be remembered happily for a long time! The companionship with our hosts and a visiting couple were also a special highlight.

Very lovely and typical japanese house. The guest was very lovely and helpful. He offered us to prepare food for us for the dinner so we took a kare katsu and a katsu don with rice, it was delicious. The house was spacious and all the necessary aminities where there. Very close from the Old Nakasendo pilgrim road so we were able to drop our luggages and take a walk for about 2h, walking down all the way to Tsumago juku. We ended up meeting with bears and seeing wonderful shrines and temples on our way. It was very humbling and ressourcing. Loved it all the way!

The host ("H") not only offers you his impeccably maintained home, but also his warmth and kindness. He will provide a local breakfast each morning, if desired, and goes out of his way to make your stay special with recommendations and tips. Kiso Valley was magical!

Minshuku Sawaguchi is a wonderful example of a Japanese guesthouse. The Sawaguchi couple work very hard to present a comfortable and welcoming experience in the Kiso Mountains. Meals are well presented, varied and the fish dishes were about the best we had during our time in Japan. The Hinoki soaking tub alone is worth the price.

Location was right across from the Nezamenotoko and close to a 7-11, about 30mins walk from Agematsu station. Room was nice and clean and they even provided a puzzle for playing. Onsen was a medicinal bath and I had the whole place to myself! Breakfast was good too, just remember to tell them in advance to omit the meat and seafood if you are vegetarian. Staff was very kind and apologetic when the person who set the meal forgot to omit the meat and fish and insisted to offer me a refund of the breakfast. I didn't want the refund but he was very apologetic and insisted to provide it. Overall excellent service recovery!
