Absolutely amazing experience. This place exceeded our expectations in all aspects. We spent 3 nights in the “Deluxe Villa” (“C”), a 66 m2 wooden house amidst the subtropical forest of Southern Okinawa. On arrival, we were greeted by Ken, the manager, who gave us a clear overview and recommendations for things to do and to eat in the area. He also showed us two e-bikes, which can be used free of charge during the stay. The place has a beautiful natural garden, which goes all the way up the hill with a great view. The house/villa had a modern, sophisticated style, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen area, own parking space and - most importantly - a balcony with stunning sea view. We were extremely lucky that our stay coincided with the local, small-scale (food truck) festival which took place on the premises of Villa Sachibaru. A fantastic local experience. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast was fantastic and very Japanese based which was a great add for a true cultural feel. The host was absolutely amazing and spoke perfect English and helped with advice and even getting around. They even went above and beyond by taking us to the bus station to get the card we need and again to help us get back to the airport. 100/10.

Hyakunagaran is pure serenity. Their service is impeccable and genuinely kind, creating an atmosphere of total relaxation. The room was incredibly spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed to showcase the ocean view — a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated for comfort and peace. Breakfast was an absolute highlight — fresh, flavorful, and exquisitely presented. Each dish reflected the essence of Okinawan ingredients and artistry. The private onsen cottages were an absolute highlight, offering a peaceful and intimate way to unwind. Hyakunagaran is more than a hotel; it’s an experience of calm, beauty, and world-class hospitality. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!
